Richard “Allen” Hill, age 62, of Chattanooga, TN, sadly passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Allen was born to Norris and Maxine Hill on September 2, 1962, in LaFayette, GA. He was a retired RN, real estate agent, and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Allen became a licensed minister from Charis College in Woodland Park, CO. His family will remember him as a God loving man who always told others about his faith in Jesus.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dewey and Vivian Rhinehart, L.D. and Esther Kinsey, and Edward Hill; father, Norris Hill; and brothers, Timmy and Lynn Hill.
Allen is survived by his wife of 45 years, Terri Hill; his children, Jeremy (Haley), Jamie, Joshua (Amanda) Hill; three grandsons, Mason, Chandler and Noah Hill; two beautiful great granddaughters; mother, Maxine Hill; brother, Jeff Hill; sister, Yvonne Alexander; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, April 28, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Chad Harris and Allen’s best friend, William Lewis officiating.
Interment will take place at LaFayette City Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jeff Clark, Jonathan Mashburn, Austin Mashburn, Steven Hill, Stacy Suttles, and Aaron Hill.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 p.m. to the hour of service at the funeral home.
