Richard “Ricky” Lebron Combs, age 61 of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 18, 2023. He was born in Fort Oglethorpe and was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga Area. Ricky attended Orange Grove most of his life and participated in The Special Olympics. He loved to watch the “Dukes of Hazzard” and was of the Baptist faith. Ricky was a loving son, nephew and friend who will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Combs; and brothers, Ronnie Combs and Jeff Combs. Ricky is survived by his loving mother, Hazel Jenkins; nieces and nephews, Rachel (Walt) Bryant, Amber Jenkins, Kevin (Lucero) Rhodes; and extended family and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Randy Tinker officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday May 22, 2023 and prior to the service on Tuesday.
