Robert “Bob” ForgetteFlintstone

Robert “Bob” Forgette, age 77, resident of Flintstone, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 13,2025 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Forgette, son of the late Joseph Forgette and Leonie Normandin Forgette, was born October 25,1948 in Worcester, Massachusetts. After graduating from Worcester South High School, he served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. Mr. Forgette then began working in various warehouses and driving trucks and finally retiring from TCI Tire. He was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church. Mr. Forgette enjoyed fishing, building model airplanes, and maintaining his aquariums (particularly tropical fish). Many would also find him grilling, watching sporting events, and listening to oldies rock. The family remembers him as a very kind and giving man.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice St Jean and Joan Wiley; one brother, Alfred “Sonny” Chapdelaine; and two nephews, Frederick Gothing, Jr. and Paul Pellerin.
He is survived by his wife of over 48 years, Diane Forgette; three daughters, Beverly (Dane) LeClaire-Gonzales, Brenda (John) Roberts, and Barbara (Gary) Bateman; five grandchildren, Fallon LeClaire, Alan (Katie) Benjamin, Kyle Roberts, Dyanna Bateman, and Brittney Bateman; two great-grandchildren, Dahlia Thrower and Kai Benjamin; many other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Mass will be held at St. Gerard Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, 11 a.m. with Father Young Nguyen officiating.
