Robert Farrow, age 77, resident of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025 at CHI Memorial Hospital, Chattanooga.
Mr. Farrow, son of the late William Washington Farrow and Nellie Vera Curenton Farrow, was born December 15, 1947 in Ringgold, Georgia. After high school, he served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. After leaving the military, he began a career at World Carpet where he faithfully worked for over 42 years. Mr. Farrow enjoyed hunting and fishing (particularly deep-sea fishing). He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. While at home, he enjoyed watching classic western movies, listening to country music, and grilling/cooking. The family remembers him as an easy going likeable man.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Ethel Farrow, Doris Stanley, Helen Inman, and Lillian Brown; and five brothers, Williard Farrow, Marvin Farrow, Bill Farrow, James Farrow, and Larry Farrow.
Mr. Farrow is survived by two sisters, Margaret Smith and Barbara (Tim) Canales; one brother, Danny (Debbie) Farrow; numerous nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery, 1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, Tennessee on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
