Robert “Joey” Joseph Mullis age 60 of Ringgold, Georgia passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Joey lived most of his life in the Atlanta, Georgia area and earned a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from Georgia Southern University. He was of the Baptist faith and worked as a software engineer for many years until his health declined. Joey had a happy soul and a fun sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willis Mullis and Hazel Lunsford Mullis.
He is survived by his cousins, Jayne Phillips and Donna Lampkin and his caregiver that became more of a brother over the last seven years, Jeremy Davenport.
