Rossie Mae “Plemons” GrishamRinggold, GA

Rossie Mae Plemons Grisham, 98, of Ringgold, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 11, 2023. She was born in Ringgold, Georgia on September 19, 1924 to the late George Henry Plemons & Emily Bennett Plemons and was a lifelong resident of the Ringgold area. She graduated from Ringgold High School, Class of 42’ and she was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church in Graysville, Georgia. She had worked as a waitress in the restaurant industry for most of her life and loved spending time with her family & friends. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend that will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis James “Buddy” Grisham of more than 61 years and numerous siblings.

Survivors include her sons, James “Jim” Grisham and Ralph Dewayne Grisham; 3 grandchildren, Kimberly Grisham Phillips, Kenneth Grisham and Brad Grisham; 3 great grandchildren, Promise Grisham, Anthony Grisham and Wyatt Grisham; several nieces, nephews and numerous extended family & friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 14, 2023 in the Wallis-Stewart Chapel with Bro. Danny Henson officiating. Burial will follow in the Anderson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday and prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Homes ~ Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold, Georgia.
