Roxanna “Roxy” McNely, age 66, resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Parkridge Medical Center. Roxy, daughter of the late Frank Smith II and Joyce Ann King Hale, was born February 21, 1958 in Chattanooga. She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith. Roxy enjoyed playing Bingo, shopping, and working Meet-and-Greets with Leland Chapman, but most of all she enjoyed being a mother and grandmother. Roxy enjoyed watching both Hallmark and Christmas movies, and listening to Elvis. Most of all, she looked forward to watching her kids and grandkids dance and sing. The family remembers her as a family oriented loyal woman – a firecracker who was loving and loyal.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Courtney Ann Salvador; two brothers, Frank Smith III and Thomas David Smith; and a niece, Christie Smith. She is survived by one daughter, Heather (Anthony) Weaver; one son, Chuck Holbert; two sisters, Donna Sue Smith and Cynthia Konopa; five grandchildren, Carolyn (Vince Childers) Salvador, Douglas Salvador, Thomas (Makinsey Richter) Salvador, Illah Salvador, and Charles Holbert III; two great-grandchildren, Grayson Childers and Myracle Frady; several nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Chapel of W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, 555 West Cloud Springs Road, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 1-3 p.m.
