Ruthie Lee Witte, age 97, of LaFayette, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard D. Witte; son, Don Plemons; granddaughter, Kim Walker; several brothers and sisters; and daughter-in-law, Janice Plemons.
Ruthie is survived by her sons, Larry Plemons and David (Arlene) Plemons; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; special friend and caregiver, Sue Carter; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 24, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Rev. Steve Camp officiating.
Pallbearers will be Lesley Plemons, Tob Plemons, Thomas Carter, Josh Harmon, Jerry Smith, and Rob Hamby.
Interment will take place at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
A visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 am to the hour of service at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
