Sara Wyatt, age 72, of LaFayette passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024.
She was a longtime member of the Church of God and recently joined the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Lamar Wyatt; grandson, Gabriel “Matt” Snider; parents, Thomas and Gladys Holcomb; four brothers; and one sister.
Sara is survived by her sons, Joel (Kym) Snider, Adam (Anita) Snider, and Joshua (Jessica) Snider; grandchildren, Nadia Guthrie, Ezekiel Snider, Drew Whitaker, Whitney Evans, Sarah Lavender, Greg Carlson, Lexa Snider, Keelan Snider, Naudia Carroll, and Gage Snider; a host of great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; Joy Barbee, Stephanie McCormick, Deana Pickelsimer, Rachel Champion, and Pamela Roberson whom she loved as her own daughters; sister-in-law, Lynda Avery; and close friend Patty English.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Monday, August 12, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Minister Reid Perry officiating.
Interment will take place at LaFayette City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gage Snider, Malachi Snider, Drew Whitaker, Ezekiel Snider, Keelan Snider, and Colton Evans.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 11, at the funeral home.
