Sherma Lee Addington, age 90 of Rossville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday April 30, 2023. She was a long-time resident of the north Georgia area and a member of Boynton United Methodist Church. She was a die-hard Atlanta Braves fan loved to read. She retired from Kmart in Fort Oglethorpe after many years of service.
Sherma was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harlin Addington; daughter. Vikki Smith; parents, Newton and Lela Wood; brothers, Charles Wood, Samuel Wood, Harley Wood and General Leonard Wood; and sisters, Ruby Gentz and Jean Peters.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Kelly Carter (Noel); sisters Ida Burwitz and Faye Peters; 4 grandchildren, Kristy Fann, Demetrus Taylor, Richard Taylor and Harlin Taylor; great-granddaughter, Ashley Fann; several nieces, nephews, Extended family and friends.

No services are planned at this time, but a trip to her favorite restaurant, Amigos, is definetly being planned.
