Shirley Jeanette Lankford 83, of Hixson, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday August 22, 2023 at her residence. She was a native of Fort Payne Alabama, a daughter of the late George and Lillian Adams Bryan.
Shirley lived most of her life in Hamilton County and was of the Baptist Faith.
She had worked with Buster Brown Children’s Clothing and retired from Lankford Reality as Secretary.
Mrs. Lankford was preceded in death by loving husband, sons Harold Dewayne Lankford and Glenn Ray Lankford, Jr.
Survivors are her loving son Gary Lankford; daughter Janice Lankford; brothers David Bryan, Jerry Bryan and Michael Bryan; Sisters Linda West and Mary Reece; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday in the funeral home chapel
Interment at Lakewood Memory Gardens South
The family will receive friends from 4-8 Friday at Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
