Skyler Ray Walker passed away unexpectedly on June 27, 2025. He was a beloved father, son, brother, fiancé, and friend. Skyler resided in Charleston, South Carolina and worked as a Controls Engineer at Leadic Industrial Services. Known by his colleagues for his playful nature, Skyler was always playing pranks on his co-workers. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Skyler graduated from Sale Creek High School, class of 2012. After high school, he received an education from Chattanooga State and Volkswagen of Chattanooga in automation mechatronics technology.
Skyler was known for his determination and drive in life, paired with a strong stubbornness that ensured he accomplished anything he set his mind to. His loyalty was unmatched, he had the biggest heart, and he was always striving to bring happiness to those around him.
He is preceded in death by his granny, Fay Walker from Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee.
Skyler is survived by his son, Connor Ray Walker, nine years old; a daughter, Grace Torres, three years old; his mother, Cherri Lynn Walker; his father, Steven Ray Walker; his sister, Casi Posten (Ryan Watts); his fiancé, Elisia Torres; his niece, Lola Posten and his nephew, Dagon Posten.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Rock Bridge Community Church in Ringgold, Georgia (265 Poplar Springs Ringgold, Georgia 30736). Online guest book at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.
