Stephen A. Cobb, 66, of Rossville, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, July 1, 2023. He was a well-known guitarist who entertained and gave lessons for many years. Steve has been a resident of North Georgia for the past 57 years. He was of the Baptist faith and loved the Lord. Steve retired 5 years ago from Alco Fabricators, Inc. He was a devoted father and grandfather who enjoyed fishing and baseball.
He was preceded in death by his parents Al and Dorothy Cobb.
Survivors include his loving former wife and companion Kimberly Cobb, children Eric (Sandii) Cobb and Emily (Jonathan) Spain, sisters, Donna (Terry) Mullins, Gloria Howe and Gail (George) Rosen; brothers Gary (Lynda) Mishoe, Bill (Pam) Cobb and Jim (Suzanne) Cobb; grandchildren Michelle Massey-Cobb, Shawn Zetko, Natori (Myles) Homer, Ashton Spain, Caden Spain, and Lyndin Spain, great-grandchild M.J. Smith, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 2 PM Thursday at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South with Dr. Keith McLeod officiating.
The family will receive friends 12-2 PM Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
