Steve Ridings, age 63, resident of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Parkridge Medical Center, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Steve, son of the late Jackie Ridings and Margaret Idella Blair, was born September 21, 1961 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He worked his entire working life in the auto industry, as an automobile salesman, and as the Owner and Operator of Ridings Auto for over five years until he retired. Steve had a strong passion for restoring old classic cars. He also enjoyed taking cruises; trips to Florida and Gatlinburg. While at home, he would be seen watching classic western movies or listening to blue grass. The family remembers him as a jokester- but also a man who would help anyone who needed help.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Christina Ridings and one sister. Steve is survived by his wife, Kathy Warren; one step-daughter, Destiny (Brent) Long; two step-sons, Chris (Ashley) Warren and Austin (Hope) McDaniel; seven step-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Chapel of W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, 555 West Cloud Springs Road, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia on Saturday, March 1, 2025, 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
