Susan Lynn Shattle, age 76 of Rossville, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023.

Formerly of Fort Payne, AL, Susan was a long-time resident of the North Georgia area. She was a retired cook, working in several area restaurants and senior living centers. She loved to cook and enjoyed working puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Ruth Miller; and brothers, Thomas Miller and Jack Miller.
Those left to cherish her memory include son, Clint Shattle (Christa); daughters, Kathie Shattle and Cynthia Ellis; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Visitation will be 4pm until 8pm Tuesday April 11, 2023 and 10am until noon Wednesday at the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet 2pm eastern time Wednesday April 12, 2023 for a Graveside Service at McNutt Memorial Methodist Cemetery in Portersville, AL.
