With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Tammy Leonard, a beacon of light in our lives, who left us on March 8, 2025. Born on September 10, 1968, Tammy lived a life filled with laughter, kindness, and care for others. Her radiant personality and infectious humor brought warmth and joy to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Tammy was the beloved mother to Brooke Leonard and Justin Leonard, who will deeply miss her love, guidance, and endearing humor. She is also survived by her cherished niece, Heather Rogers. Tammy was predeceased by her loving parents, Alton and Rita Walker. She leaves behind grandchildren Layla Leonard, Elijah Leonard, Gavin Whitner. Henry Burgin, Franki Burgin; siblings Tina Hubbard, Terry Walker, Tracy Rice, Teresa Walker, along with several cousins, and nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

With a personality that could best be described as funny, kind, and caring, Tammy's love for life was contagious. She lived life on her own terms and taught us that the essence of life lies in living it the way you want to. Her boundless energy, unwavering optimism, and enduring spirit will continue to inspire us all.

As we mourn the loss of Tammy Leonard, we also celebrate her vibrant life, which was a testament to her loving nature and zest for life. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive through the stories we share, the love we spread, and the lives we live. Tammy's legacy is a reminder to each of us to live life fully, love deeply, and laugh heartily - the very essence of her being.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. in the parlor of the funeral home on Wednesday March 12, 2025. Following visitation, a Funeral Service will be held in the Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Barry Williams officiating.
