Teresa Gaye Rhodes Acuff, age 63 of Rossville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025. Teresa was born in Ringgold, Geogia to the late Newell Rhodes and Eva Hullander Rhodes and she resided in the North Georgia and Chattanooga area most of her life. Teresa was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed horse riding and barrel racing with her daughter. Most of her time was spent at home, raising her kids and spending time with family.
Including her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandparents and brother, Michael Rhodes.
Teresa is survived by her husband of 40 years, Will Acuff; children, Will Acuff Jr., Eva Acuff, Patrick (Nicole) Acuff; sister, Debbie Wright, Rhonda Glen, Marty Rhodes; seven grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2025 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
