Terry Holbrook, age 68, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at CHI Memorial.
A lifelong passion for music led Terry to proudly play the drums in many local bands, including “Blaze.” Music was more than a hobby—it was part of who he was. A love for all kinds of racing filled many weekends, especially when paired with grilling good food and watching NASCAR. The roar of engines and the thrill of competition brought endless enjoyment.
Known as a true handyman, Terry could fix just about anything around the house and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Great joy was found in traveling, particularly to Daytona Beach and to lower Alabama to visit family. Those trips and the time spent with loved ones were deeply treasured. Riding his motorcycle, watching old classic westerns, and, most of all, telling a good joke were favorite pastimes. A sense of humor that could light up a room and a warm, welcoming spirit meant he never met a stranger—everyone felt valued in his presence.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Wade Holbrook and Carolyn Holbrook, and his brother, Kelly Holbrook.
Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Sherie Holbrook; children, Madison (Dylan) Holbrook, Summer (Lek) Holbrook, and Christopher Holbrook; six cherished grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends who will continue to honor his life.
Above all, Terry’s family remembers a gentle soul who was deeply passionate about family. Steady and unwavering love brought comfort and strength to those closest to him. Though deeply missed, the laughter, music, and love shared will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
