Terry Phillip “Phil” Romans age 69, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Saturday – August 5, 2023. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late John V. Romans and Effie Mae Sherill Romans Waters. Phil was an electrical technician and worked for the Metal Corporation and the Ball Corporation for many years. Phil enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidsons, making knives, belt buckles and other metal workings. He was also talented in music and enjoyed playing his guitars. To those who knew him best he was a nurturing, kind-hearted, hard-working, humorous man who loved his family dearly. He will be greatly missed. He was a lifelong resident of northwest Georgia and was of the Baptist faith. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother: Stan Romans. He is survived by his daughters: Melinda Romans of Linville, N.C., Denise Conaway of Calhoun, GA, brothers: John D. (Jayne) Romans, Anthony (Marie) Romans, sister: Sherry (Marty) Shrader all of LaFayette, GA, three grandchildren: Benjamin Bartlett, Bailey Bartlett and Addison Conaway, several nieces and nephews.
