Tim “G Pa” ScottRock Springs

Tim “G Pa” Scott, age 66 of Rock Springs, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 19, 2026. He was the son of the late Carl Wesley Scott and Sara Mae Clouse Scott, and was born on May 30, 1959, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Tim was in the trucking industry for over 35 years, a great handyman, always working on vehicles or other machines. He enjoyed taking trips to Florida, buying and selling cars, and being busy with outside projects. While at home many would see him watching NewsMax, American Pickers, and Property Brothers. He also enjoyed grilling for family and friends, particularly for Sunday family dinners. Most of all, he looked forward to spending time with his family. The family remembers him as a loving husband, father, and “G Pa”. Other than his parents Tim is preceded in his death by his close cousin Bruce Dahman.
He is survived by his loving wife Donna Scott; his sons, Jason (Sydni) Scott, Matthew (Shelby) Scott; step sons, Jon (Katelyn) Pickett, Christopher (Jillian) Pickett; his sister Sandy (Tommy) Webb; grandchildren Nixon, Nylah, Henry, Colt, Kaylee, Tyler, and Aubree; nephews Dusty and Wes; and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Cowboy Church of LaFayette with Pastor Randy and Sandy Harden officiating. Interment will follow at Woodstation Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 5-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel.
