Tom GarverickRinggold, GA

Thomas “Tom” Garverick, 76, of Ringgold, passed away on July 14, 2023.  Tom was born January 17, 1947 in Washington, DC to the late Charlie and Mae Dean Garverick.  He has been a resident of the Ringgold community for 36 years and a member of Ringgold United Methodist Church.  He had been employed with Burlington Mills in South Boston, VA, West Point Pepperell, in Newnan, GA, Lindale Mills, in Rome, GA, Synthetic Industries, in Chattanooga, American Plastics, Chattanooga, before starting his own business, Storage Solutions.  He was preceded in death by his brother Andy Garverick and sister-in-law Jina Garverick.

Mr. Garverick is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Susan Garverick, son Steve (Wendy) Garverick, brother Mickey (Ruth) Garverick, grandchildren Gabe, Luke and Ella, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services honoring the life of Tom will be at 2 PM, Saturday, at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Pastor Kirby Hill officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11am – 1 PM, Saturday, at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
