Una Mae Rogers
November 18, 1951 - August 3, 2024
Una Mae Rogers, 72, of Rossville, Georgia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 3, 2024. She was born in Palatka, Florida, to the late Wilbert Perian and Matilda Hunt. Una, originally from Florida, had lived in the Rossville area for over forty-five years and attended Memorial Baptist Tabernacle in Rossville, Georgia. Una loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She enjoyed reading her Bible and spending time in prayer each day. Una’s love for her family and her friends was beyond measure. Her door was always open to anyone if you were hungry or needed a place to rest. She was always ready to share scripture and an encouraging word. Una was a fantastic cook, and she always enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with each one of them. Her family dearly loved Una, and she will be missed. The great comfort for her family is knowing that she is now at Home with Jesus, and they will get to see her again.

Una is preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert Perian and Matilda Hunt; brothers Robert Farmer, Jess Hodges, and Wilbert Perian, Jr.; sisters Kathleen Anderson and Deborah Perian; and grandchildren Carrie Lynn, Casey Leigh, and Aaliyah Flake.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Robert Flake of Rossville, Georgia; daughter, Sebrina (James) Free of Rossville, Georgia, and many others that she claimed as her own; siblings, Robin Hodges, Kenneth (Billy) Farmer, Mark (Karen) Farmer, Deborah (Steve) Babcock, Janice (Jamie) Perian; grandchildren, Chris, Alisha, Ashleigh, Kymberli, Celinna, Bradley, Jordan, Joey, Josh, Taylor; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

The family has arranged for a time to remember and honor Una.
