Velma Fay Brown Rogers age 80, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025. She resided most of her life in Tunnel Hill and was of the Baptist Faith. Velma spent many years around motorcycles as she enjoyed watching motorcycle races and worked in the parts department at Ray’s Harley Davidson for twenty years. She enjoyed vacationing at the beach and even made the trip to Daytona Beach on her motorcycle. Most of all, Velma enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Glen Brown and Ruby Fincher Brown, and nephew, Lee Brown. She is survived by her son, Leroy (Karen) Langham; siblings, Christine Shields, Shirley (Charles) Black, Elnora Waltman, Troy (Wanda) Brown; grandchildren, Zane (Haley) Langham, Ryan Langham; great grandchildren, Keighton, Kinsley and Maisley Langham, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025, in the Wilson Funeral Homes Wallis ~ Stewart Chapel with Pastor Michael Gazaway officiating.
