Venice Conkle May, 91, of Chickamauga, GA passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023. Venice was born in Centre, AL on June 22, 1931 to the late Mack and Thelma McClung Conkle. She was a member of Word of Faith Tabernacle in Rossville, GA. She was a real estate broker in the Atlanta/ Newnan market for many years and a million dollar producer where she worked for the late Senator Johnny Isakson.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Combs and her second husband, Bill May Sr; siblings, Burnell McCallister, Gail Davis Pearl, Geraldean Conkle Hunter and Malcolm Brice Conkle.

Survivors include her brother, Rev. Dawlon (Martha) Conkle; nephews, Glenn (Susan) Conkle and Danny (Kim) Conkle; niece, Jan Hodge; step children, Bill May Jr. and his family, Debbie Potter; sister in law, Marie Conkle; great-nephews and great-nieces, Rodney, Kyle and Marissa Conkle, Rebecca (Jeremy) Halloway; great-great nieces and nephew, Makayla, Lola and Zackery.

Funeral services will be 2 PM, Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dawlon Conkle officiating. Interment will be at Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.
