Virginia Edgeman, age 80, of LaFayette passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Cassidy Corbett; father, Farris Edgeman; mother, Alma Payne; and son-in-law, Robbie “JR” Herston.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Wilbanks Herston; son, Jeff (Kyla) Wilbanks; grandchildren, Tiffany (Cody) Edgeman, Jordan (Kassandra) Wilbanks, Josh Wilbanks, and Colton Corbett; 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Sue Edgeman and Jean (Harve) Culberson; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 26, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastors Jim Powell and Russell Swafford officiating.
Interment will take place at West Hill Cemetery in Trion.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 12 p.m. to the service hour.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Parkside Nursing Home and staff for their care and support given to their mom during the last two years.
