Virginia “Jenny” Jo Lyle HendersonChickamauga, GA

Virginia “Jenny” Jo Lyle Henderson, age 83 of Chickamauga, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023. She was born to the late James Montfort Lyle and Virginia Lowe Lyle in Lakeview, was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and was of the Christian faith. Jenny was the Past President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #945 Women’s Auxiliary and the Past President and State Director of Women in Construction, and a member of the Professional Business Association. She retired in 2005 after more than 45 years bookkeeping for several local companies. Jenny was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed. Those left to cherish Jenny’s memory are her partner, Charles Blow; children, Shay (Gary) Robins, Rob (Niña) Henderson, and nephew, Steve (Kat) Moreland; sister, Faythya (John) Hunt; grandchildren, Campbell Henderson, Alexis (Jess) Smith, and Halley Henderson; one great grandchild, Lula Smith. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, June 10, 2023 in the Chickamauga City Cemetery, with Bro. Tommy Stone officiating.
