Wanda J. Dyer Witt, 101 of Rossville went to be with The Lord on Friday August 25, 2023 in the comfort of her home. She has lived in the Rossville area for the last 85 years, and is a member at Center Point Baptist Church in Rock Spring.

She is preceded in death by her husband Gordon Witt; parents William & Gladys Dyer; great grandson Judah Witt; 4 brothers, 1 sister and 1 son in-law.

Wanda is survived by her children Rita Howell, Diane (Ron) Sizemore, Gladys Prather, Dotti (Ken) Marks, Robert (Janet) Witt; sister Gloria Phillips; 7 grandchildren;12 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous extended friends and family.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday August 27, 2023 in the parlor of the funeral home; and two hours before the service on Monday. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday August 28, 2023 in the Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Studdard Officiating A burial will follow at Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park in Rossville.
