William John “Johnny” Scott, 71, of Tiftonia passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023, at his daughter’s home in Rising Fawn. He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area. Johnny loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Johnny enjoyed woodworking, taking things apart, and tinkering with anything he could get his hands on. He also enjoyed the outdoors and riding around in the Chickamauga Battlefield.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Scott; brother, Eugene Scott; sisters, Barbara Scott, Sarah Ann Read, Mary Joe Kilgore, and Rebecca Elizabeth Sells.
Survivors include his children, Heather (Ryan) Hamilton, Brandon Scott, and Shaun Scott; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
