William “Logan” Johnson III, age 81, of Jacksonville, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Throughout his life, Logan lived in many places, but he always considered Florida his home. He was a member of the Methodist Church and a proud Eagle Scout. Logan graduated from Florida State University, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity, and he remained an avid Seminoles fan throughout his life. He traveled across the country to attend their football games and was a devoted member of the Seminole Boosters.
Logan also proudly served in the United States Navy, where he was a T-28 pilot. In his free time, he loved boating and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Logan Johnson Jr. and Gladys Milo Johnson.
Logan is survived by his children: Brian (Cynthia) Johnson; Chris (Ana) Johnson; Amanda Stibbs (Preston); and Eryn Johnson (Adam); his sister, Janice (John) Donovan; and his beloved grandchildren: Ansley, Davis, Will, Miles, Tallulah, and Mae.
