W. Charles Mitchell, 78, of Rossville, GA passed away Friday, September 1, 2023. He was born to the late Dorsey and Bessie Mitchell in Chattanooga, TN where he lived the majority of his life. He attended Ringgold Church of God, the Wallaceville Church of God and he retired from Arcade Printing.
Charles was an avid Ham Radio operator. He also enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting and camping, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dorsey and Bessie Mitchell.
Charles is survived by, his loving wife of 60 years, Shirley Scott Mitchell; son and wife, Steve and Jennifer Mitchell of Hiram, Ga, son and wife, Terry Shane and Marita Mitchell; 5 grandchildren, Jessica, Zachary, Jonathan, Andre and Nicholas; 3 great grandchildren, Peyton, Chandler and Crew.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 6th at 10:00am at Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
