William Ross Brown Jr.Chickamauga, GA

William Ross Brown, Jr., 75, of Chickamauga, Georgia passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024. Mr. Brown was born in Attalla, Alabama on April 2, 1949 to the late, Ross & Hazel Foster Brown and had lived in the Chickamauga area for most of his life. He was of the Christian faith and was an Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He had previously worked at Synthetic Industry for many years, was mechanically inclined and enjoyed working on cars and small engines. He was a loving and devoted brother, father and grandfather that will be truly missed by all who knew him. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Mae Jackson Brown.

Survivors include his son, Brian Thomas Brown; brother, Ricky Brown; grandson, Thomas Bentley Brown and numerous extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 26, 2024 in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. The family will only receive friends on Sunday from 2 ~ 8 p.m. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Homes – Fort Oglethorpe Chapel. Online register book at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com
