William Steve Critchfield age 73 of Ringgold, Georgia passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025. Steve lived most of his life in Ringgold and was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church. Steve enjoyed volunteering at Christ’s Chapel Share and Care in Ringgold, Georgia.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents; Charlie Critchfield and Ella Stafford Critchfield; sisters, Mary May, Jo Smith, and Clair Drigins; half brother-in-law, Larry and his brother-in-law, Tim Raines.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Alice Raines Critchfield; sisters, Barbara Edding and Brenda Davis; his half sibling-in-laws, Mary, Wanda, Johnnie, and David; his brother-in-law, Carl; sister-in-law, Sheila Raines; his nieces, Beth Hardy and Katie Moorhead as well as close friends, Mario Lopez and Bobby Henson.
