Yvonne “Bonnie” Duffey StephensChickmauga

It is with heavy hearts we announce our beloved mother and grandmother, Yvonne “Bonnie” Duffey Stephens went home to be with the Lord. She was predeceased by her loving husband, of 52 years, the love they shared welcomed 5 children, Ben Gordon Stephens Jr.; and 2 sons, Raymond Joseph Stephens and James Eddie Stephens. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Ben (Sharon Stephens; daughter, Robin (Bruce) Eakin all of Chickmauga; son, Lynn Stephens of Rossville; along with her 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Bonnie was a homemaker and taught Sunday school form more than 32 years. She loved God, our Savior and was a member of Elizabeth Terrace Baptist Church for more than 60 years. Bonnie was born 1 of 16 Kids and will be greatly missed, “to know her was to love her”. The family would like to thank Tapestry Hospice for the car our mother received and family & friends for love, prayers and phone calls during this difficult time. The funeral service will be held 12:00 pm on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor George Pinion officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens-South. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on Monday, all day on Tuesday and prior to the service on Wednesday. Condolences may be left at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.
