Rita Maureen MannRock Spring

Rita Maureen Mann, age 85, of Rock Spring, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. She was born in Hinkle to the late Warren Poole and Gertrude Massey Poole. Rita was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area and was a faithful attendee of Center Grove Baptist Church.
Rita was a devoted Christian woman who loved her family deeply. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness, faith, and gentle spirit touched many lives. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip T. Mann; and her siblings, Carolyn Brooks, Roberta Anderson, Beverley Poole, and Garner Poole.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Denise (Eddie) Walker; sister, Hilda Hayworth; grandchildren, Damien, Holly, Trey, and Travis; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2026, in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow in Payne’s Chapel Cemetery in Hinkle. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and prior to the service on Sunday.
