The City of LaFayette is advising motorists of a temporary road closure Friday evening, October 16, as downtown prepares for the final Music on Main event.
According to city officials, the section of Villanow Street between Duke Street and Main Street will close at approximately 6:30 p.m. to accommodate the event.
Motorists traveling through downtown LaFayette should plan accordingly, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes while the closure is in place.
Friday’s event will mark the final Music on Main gathering, bringing another evening of live music and community entertainment to downtown LaFayette.
The city has not announced a specific time for the roadway to reopen.
