September 13, 1960 - March 5, 2026
Kevin Craig Arnold, 65, of Rossville, Georgia went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 5, 2026, at 2:08 pm while surrounded by his wife and children.
He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on September 13, 1960, to the late Alvin and Gloria
Arnold. He loved life, laughter, and never met a stranger. He was a truly devoted husband and father to his wife and his children. He spent his entire career working as an exterminator. Starting first with Red Wing and then with his own company, Battlefield Pest Services, which he formed in 1995, and continued operating until his retirement in December 2025, during which time, he gained a loyal customer base.
Kevin was of the Baptist faith. He served as choir director for Immanuel Baptist, Pleasant Hill Baptist, and People's Baptist, where he became an ordained deacon and then became an honorary deacon at Philadelphia Baptist, where he was currently a member. While outside his home, he enjoyed fishing, sitting on his mower, grilling for his family, and visiting his grandsons. He also enjoyed his cooking, crime shows, Tennessee Volunteer Football, and 70s rock music, particularly the Doobie Brothers. He also enjoyed singing himself. Kevin was a jokester, always having something witty to say. He loved people and enjoyed life every day.
He was preceded by his parents; his son Chris Arnold; his brothers Mark Arnold and Bernie Cable.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Rhonda Arnold; his children Aaron Arnold and Bethany (Brent) Shaffer; his sisters Sammie Fastenau, Kathy Olka, Mary Lou (Pat) McHugh; his grandsons Ayden Shaffer, Nolan Shaffer, Cohen Shaffer; and several nieces and nephews.
