Pamela Ruth Stevens RemettaFort Oglethorpe

Pamela Ruth Stevens Remetta, age 65 of Fort Oglethorpe, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026. She was born in the late Evelyn S. Haynes McMurray in Fort Oglethorpe, was a lifelong resident of North Georgia, and was of the Church of God faith. Pamela retired from the Roper Corp., in 2024 after more than 35 years and was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy McMurray. Pamela is survived by her loving son, George Remetta; grandchildren, Gavin Remetta, Bryson Remetta, Lilly Remetta, and Freya Remetta; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday, March 20, 2026 at the funeral home. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Fort Oglethorpe.
