Nancy Nanette “Nannan” MorrowEast Ridge

Nancy Nanette “Nannan” Morrow age 54, of East Ridge, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 15, 2026. She lived most of her life in the Chattanooga and East Ridge, Tennessee area and was of the Baptist faith. Nancy enjoyed creating arts and crafts of which coloring and flower arrangements were her favorite. She was known for her compassionate and giving heart. As a private caregiver to her dear friend Martha, Nancy went above and beyond, always ensuring she was comforted, cared for, and never alone. Her kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Above all else, Nancy treasured her time in God’s Word and the moments she spent with her beloved grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Thurmond and Alice Nunley Thurmond as well as her grandparents.
She is survived by her sons, Cory Gene Smith (Kayla), Zachariah Phillip Smith (Amber), and Franklin Dwayne Smith; her siblings, Frankie and Cindy Morrow, Tracy and Dottie Morrow, Tabitha Williams; eighteen grandchildren, her cousins, and aunt, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2026, in the Wallis – Stewart Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home with Pastors John Williams, Daniel White, and Frankie Morrow officiating.
