Crandall L. Corbin

Crandall L. Corbin, 87, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026. Crandall was born in Cleveland, Tennessee, on April 24, 1938, to the late Lester and Nora Corbin. He was a lifelong resident of the East Tennessee and Northwest Georgia area and was a member of the LaFayette Church of God in LaFayette, Georgia. From an early age, Crandall loved tinkering with and working on cars, which became his lifelong passion. He loved building cars, rat rods, and other projects, and even flying and working on airplanes. Crandall loved people, loved to laugh and have a great time, but most of all, he loved his wife and family, especially his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and grand dogs. He was a wonderful husband, father, and Pap. Crandall was loved by his family and everyone who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.

Crandall is preceded in death by his parents, Lester A. and Nora Ivy Sallie Corbin.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of sixty-seven years, Jo Ann Corbin; son, Randy (Sylvia) Corbin of Summerville, Georgia; daughters, Angelia (Lebron) Rollins of LaFayette, Georgia and Tina (Steven) Dean of Foley, Alabama; sisters, Violet Swafford of Cloudland, Georgia and Delilah (Frank ) Butler of Summerville, Georgia; grandchildren, Randy (Jamie) Corbin, Kia (Heather) Corbin, Nathanael Rollins, and Cherie (Richard) Tinklepaugh; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Caydence, Cody, Sophy, Harper, Charlie, Corbin, and Reese; and several nieces and nephews.

The family invites friends and loved ones to join us in remembering and honoring Crandall on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 1 pm until the time of the service. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026. Immediately after the service, we will proceed to the LaFayette Memory Gardens for the entombment.
