Margaret Ann Kirby

Margaret Ann Kirby, 86, of Rossville, GA, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026.

She was born on August 23, 1939, in Crossville, TN. She was a supervisor for many years at Star Knitwear. Margaret was very active in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was a wonderful cook and will be remembered for her homemade biscuits. Margaret was a kind and sweet woman who loved her family.

Margaret was preceded in death by her mother, Susie Brewer; her husband, James Kirby; and three siblings, Everett Brewer, Nellie Mae Brewer, and Edward Brewer.

She is survived by her children, Danny (Vickie) Cox and Lisa (Mark) Holden; her grandchildren, Matthew (Kensey) Holden and Cortney Cox; four great-grandchildren, Tenlee Holden, Stone Holden, Steele Holden, and Stokes Holden; her sister, Dollie Cordell; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.

A graveside service will take place at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Lakewood Memory Gardens South in Rossville, GA.
