April Spade

April Spade, age 65, resident of Chickamauga, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Erlanger Hospital, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Ms. Spade, daughter of the late Randolph Cleveland Barnes and Margie Lee Jackson Barnes, was born September 9, 1960 in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended Frawley Baptist Church, East Ridge, Tennessee and had worked at Wanda’s Restaurant for over 10 years until she retired. Ms. Spade enjoyed spending time on her back porch with her dog, Stormy. Many would also find her at home watching Korean drama shows and listening to country music. Most of all, she looked forward to spending quality time with her grandson. The family remembers her as a loving and caring lady with a wonderful personality.
Ms. Spade is survived by two sons, Sean Miller and Jonathan (Jenni) Miller; one sister, Mary Barnes; one grandson, Gunner Miller; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Wilson Funeral Home LaFayette Chapel, 1779 North Main Street, LaFayette, Georgia on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday, April 21,2026 from 12:00 p.m. till 3:00 pm.
