Barbara Jean Regal

Barbara Jean Coffman Regal, age 93, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 9, 2026.
She was born in Piqua, Ohio, to the late Arthur Franklin Coffman and Cletice Delma Cooper Coffman. Barbara spent most of her life in the Chattanooga area and was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church.
Barbara was a devoted and loving Christian woman whose faith and kindness touched many lives across generations. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt, and friend, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, of 70 years, Robert Lee Regal; her sister, Delma Fogt; her brother, Art Coffman, Jr.; and her daughter-in-law, Sandra Regal.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her children, Tim (Connie) Regal, Cindy (Gene) Sherrill, Debbie (Chris) Johnson, and Dan (Tammy) Regal; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in the funeral home parlor, with Rev. Tim Regal officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Piqua, Ohio.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
