Charles Glasco Fowler

Charles Glasco Fowler, 78, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Charles was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on September 17, 1947, to the late William Winston and Dorothy Louise Fowler. He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and Northwest Georgia area. Charles enjoyed going fishing and throwing horseshoes. He was a hard worker who taught his children the value of hard work and integrity. He loved seeing them prosper. Charles was a simple man with a huge heart who loved helping and encouraging his family and friends. He was a friend to all who knew him, and he will be dearly missed.

Charles is preceded in death by his father, William Winston Fowler; his parents, Roy and Dorthy Louise Dover; brothers, Dennis Fowler and Roland Dover; sister, Martha Ellis; sons, Tim Broom, Sr., and Chris Fowler; and nephews, Jeff Payton and Thomas Ellis.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Charles R. Fowler, Anthony Fowler, Eric Fowler, and Troy Martin, Jr., all of Rossville, Georgia, and Tracy Patten of Ringgold, Georgia; sisters, Donna Ellis and Tressia Quarles, both of Rossville, Georgia; grandchildren, Cheyenne Fowler, Rylee Fowler (Cook), Caleb Fowler, Jennifer Hutcheson, Brandon Robinson, Samantha Ray, Austin Patten, and Christina Fowler (Little); nieces and nephews, Amanda Quarles (Phillips), Jerrell Quarles, Mark Quarles, Ricky Cook, Roland Dover, II., Roland Dover, III., Michelle Dover, Linda Dover, Tammy Ellis, and Angela Pratt.

The family invites friends and loved ones to join us in remembering and honoring Charles on Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Monday, April 27, 2026, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2026. Following the chapel service, we will proceed to Lakewood Memorial Gardens – East, 4621 Shallowford Road, Chattanooga, Tennessee, for the burial.
