The City of LaFayette is now accepting applications for patrol officers as the police department continues to grow and expand its services to the community.

Officials say the department is seeking motivated individuals interested in a career in law enforcement, offering a competitive starting salary ranging from $50,232 to $56,522, along with a full benefits package.

The position includes a variety of benefits designed to support both professional and personal well-being. Officers receive a take-home vehicle, paid retirement, holiday and vacation time, and work 12-hour shifts. The department also maintains a tattoo and facial hair-friendly policy.

In addition to standard benefits, the City of LaFayette offers several pay incentives for advanced training and experience.
