Angie Teems will host a series of four town hall-style meetings across Walker County over the next two months, giving residents an opportunity to ask questions, share concerns and learn more about county government initiatives.

The meetings will begin at 6 p.m. at locations throughout the county, starting May 12 at the Walker County Administration Building in LaFayette. Additional meetings are scheduled for May 19 at the Rossville Senior Center, June 9 at the Walker County Civic Center in Rock Spring and June 23 at Lookout Mountain Town Hall.

According to county officials, Teems will begin each session with a brief update on her first 17 months in office before opening the floor for questions and feedback from residents.

A rotating panel of county department heads and other officials will also attend the meetings to help answer questions related to county services, operations, special projects and long-term planning efforts.

The forums are intended to encourage open communication between county leadership and residents while providing updates on issues impacting communities across Walker County.
