A Saint Elmo hemp store owner and a woman are facing multiple child sex-related charges following their arrest on warrants issued out of Walker County.
According to affidavits filed in Hamilton County, Tennessee, sheriff’s deputies arrested David Rutherford and Heather Rutherford on behalf of the Walker County Sheriff’s Office.
The affidavits provide limited details about the investigation, but list several serious charges, including rape and trafficking involving a child.
A LinkedIn profile identifies David Rutherford as the owner of Journey Hemp in the Saint Elmo area.
