Everett Duane Lovett, 66, of Chickamauga, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026. He was born in Fort Myers, Florida, on May 15, 1960, to the late Barney and Ethel Lovett.
Duane spent most of his life working in maintenance and construction. He was a hardworking man who took pride in everything he did and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church.
In his free time, Duane enjoyed playing horseshoes, fishing, golfing, sharing a drink with friends, and spending time with those he loved most.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Barney T. Lovett Jr. and Henry B. Lovett; and his sister, Missy Dawn Lovett.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Erica (Christopher) Ledford and Elaina (Eric) Clifton; sisters, Mary L. Follendore, Geanne C. Lovett, and Claudia P. Sparks; brother, Billy T. Lovett; grandchildren, Tyson McCallister, Samantha Billingsley, Eli McCallister, Ayden Lovett, Ian Ledford, and Brianna Ledford; along with several extended family members and friends.
