Walker County residents are invited to help shape the future of the community during the second stakeholder meeting for the Walker County Comprehensive Plan update.
The public meeting will take place Thursday, May 28, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Walker County Civic Center, located at 10052 North Highway 27 in Rock Spring.
County officials say the meeting is part of the ongoing process to update the county’s comprehensive plan, which helps guide future growth, development, infrastructure, and community priorities. Residents are encouraged to attend and share their ideas and feedback.
Officials noted that the meeting is open to the public and all community members are welcome to participate.
A third stakeholder meeting for the comprehensive plan update is also scheduled for June 25 at the Walker County Civic Center.
