The Chattooga County Board of Education is seeking multiple full-time paraprofessionals (teacher aides) for the upcoming 2026-27 school year.
These are full-time, 152 workday positions that are eligible for benefits and will be assigned at several schools throughout the district.
Positions Available
- Leroy Massey Elementary School – Pre-K classroom; 1st Grade classroom; Kindergarten classroom
- Lyerly Elementary School – Pre-K classroom
- Menlo Elementary School – 1st Grade classroom
- Summerville Middle School – Pre-K classroom
Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- A high school diploma or GED, and
- Be eligible to obtain a Georgia Paraprofessional Certificate by passing the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment or hold an associate degree or higher.
