Diane Redden, maiden name Mills, of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, was born on February 18, 1947, and passed away on May 31, 2026. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and faithful servant of the Lord whose life was marked by love, kindness, and unwavering faith.
Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Redden; and daughter, Jennifer Wooden.
She is survived by her brother, Gary Mills, sister-in-law, Brenda Mills; and granddaughter, Lindsay Brooke Doerr and her husband, Nick Doerr; great-granddaughters, Lydia James Doerr and Citrasena Seraphina Doerr. Other relatives include her granddaughter Taylor McCuiston and daughter Norma Harrison.
Diane was an active member of Brainerd Baptist Church and loved Jesus with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength. Her faith guided her life and was evident to everyone who knew her. She found great joy in traveling and exploring the world alongside her husband, Rick, creating treasured memories throughout their years together. When she wasn’t traveling, Diane could often be found curled up with a good book, always eager to learn, dream, and enjoy life’s quiet moments.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched, but her loved ones find comfort in knowing she is now resting peacefully in the presence of her Savior. Diane will be interred in the columbarium at Chattanooga National Cemetery with her husband on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., family will meet at the cemetery for the committal service.
